At Xavier Kids, we choose a yearly theme and then teach on that theme in multiple different teaching series. This year's theme is "Be holy as your Father in Heaven is Holy." from the Gospel of Matthew 5:48.

This semester's final teaching series is called "Abba, Father!". As adopted sons and daughters of God through Jesus in the sacrament of Baptism, our identity is found in Jesus, the perfect reflection of God the Father. 

In this series, we will journey into salvation history to learn about the famous fathers and sons in the bible. With each lesson, we will grow in understanding how loving and perfect God the Father is and that we are called to be Holy just as He is!

First Holy Communion

Jesus touches our lives through the Sacraments. Our celebrations of the sacraments are signs of Jesus’ presence in our lives and a means for receiving his grace.

First Reconciliation:

Children prepare for First Reconciliation during their second grade year in Xavier Kids. First Reconciliation takes place during the fall semester.  

First Holy Communion:

"Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.'"  - John 6:35
Children prepare for First Holy Communion during their second grade year in Xavier Kids. It is recommended students have at least one prior year of Xavier Kids class attendance.
Classes for those children receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are held on Sunday during the school year from 9:45am-11:00am.

Primera Comunión

Jesús toca nuestras vidas a través de los Sacramentos. Nuestras celebraciones de los sacramentos son signos de la presencia de Jesús en nuestras vidas y un medio para recibir su gracia.

Primera Reconciliación:

Los niños se preparan para la Primera Reconciliación durante su segundo año de grado en Xavier Kids. La Primera Reconciliación se lleva a cabo durante el semestre de otoño.

Primera Comunión:

"Jesús les dijo: 'Yo soy el pan de vida; el que a mí viene, nunca tendrá hambre, y el que en mí cree, no tendrá sed jamás'". - Juan 6:35
Los niños se preparan para la Primera Comunión durante su segunda año de grado en Xavier Kids. Se recomienda que los estudiantes tengan al menos un año anterior de asistencia a clases de Xavier Kids.
Las clases para aquellos niños que reciben los Sacramentos de la Primera Reconciliación y la Primera Comunión se llevan a cabo los domingos durante el año escolar de 9:45 am a 11:00 am.
